To all those out there that read my "uptodate" blogs... Well...I'm still working on touching up pics from when Rosey last visited me. And I could blog about my last spare of the moment trip to IA...but I'll put all that in the next post with those pics of when Rosey came up to surprise me. :)

On a sadder note... My dog Lady wasn't feeling good Sunday night when we got back from IA. Mom thinks she got into something that wasn't so good for her stomach, which is a pretty common thing for our dog and is pretty good at it. Last night she was doing worse and wouldn't even bark when someone came inside!! Thats a bad sign...especially since she has a reputation to fulfill (bark at anyone who enters driveway/ bark at grandpa when he goes from His back door to His chicken house) Anyways....last night she looked really sick and wasn't doing much walking around and her ears were really droopy. And if I remember correctly she had been puking, thats why mom thought it was something she ate. So she put chairs in doorway of the entry way and penned her out there. Then this morning when I came downstairs, Anita was in the entry way bent over Lady. She said, "I think she's gone." sure enough, during the night she died at a ripe old age of 12. I think it hit mom the hardest. So you can pray for her if you think of her. Lady was technically my dog, but the bond between mom and Lady was strong. And mom spoiled her.
So in tribute, here are a few pics I found of her.



She was a Good, faithful, watchdog!
And I thank the Lord for the good memories I've had with her.

For those of you out there that didn't get along with her...thats your own fault. Teasing an animal and then trying to get it to like you just don't work.
I know this for a fact...I was with Lady for 12 years!

As you might have gathered by know, the last two post were the Rhodes Christmas.. So now one for the Nisly's. I couldn't find as many pics as I wanted but I'll put the ones I have on.

We were making whatever we wanted with mini marshmallows and toothpicks.

Well.... I cant remember all the good times in detail...And I don't have much time... So I'll see what I can do with Pics. Oh for those who don't already know.. I busted my right febula Christmas afternoon in a snowball fight. Got a splint at the ER, and a week later a cast (glow in the dark!!) and just had a checkup today. Get my cast replaced with another one next week. Doc told me Im riding the fence right now.. I Gotta be careful, no jaring it or anything, otherwise i'll have surgery which they'll put 2 screws in and then I'd be in a cast for 2 + months. Currently Im looking at 6 weeks in a cast and 2 weeks in a boot if all goes well. Doc said this aint no laughing break...something with the tendon. I Praise God it happened the afternoon right before we were ready to leave IA. Our family got to IA Fri afternoon..the MYF had a banquet that Fri night when we got down there and I had the Honor of escorting my Dazzling Girlfriend to it. So I was able to play outside and have fun with my cousins and do whatever. Then that Tues afternoon I broke it and early Wed morning we left for MN AND I got to bring Rosey back up with me for the Rhodes Christmas. Yea it was pretty painfull at first, but it don't hurt too bad know. Please keep me in your prayers for a speedy recovery so hopefully I can get some Bball in before the season is over.

Grrr...I hate it when the photo editor don't work!
Oh well....I suppose I can do something else.

Lets see... I think it was a couple weeks back Jesse, Jed, and I piled in my little Toyota and headed to Ceder Rapids IA for a Newsboys, Kutless, and some other band from NY, Concert. We left Fri morning and got to Ceder Rapids fairly early, so we went to a mall and I took a snooze while Jesse and Jed went for a walk/shoppin spree. I remember waking up to Jesse voice talking in my ear ( I had my handsfree headset on for my phone and it automatically answers it. If you want a strange experience, take a nap with you head set on and have someone call you to wake you up. Its a really weird/funny sensation. It's like your in a dream and hear someone speaking from a long tunnel, followed by a laugh of course :) It was Great! Anyways...I wake up, they jump back in the car and off to the Cingular Center we go. (or was it the Cellone Center?) We pulled into the parking garage, I was fully expecting to have to search the crowds to find my Sweetheart along with the group she came with, but I drive a round a corner and there they WERE!! It was SO COOL! So we all went in and found our seats and sat/stood/jumped around, enjoying the awesome/Loud/wonderful/amazing Concert. Some band I never heard of was first, than it was Kutless, they were pretty good, the lead singer climbed up on an amp and did a flip off the amp over a guy in the middle of a song. But then It Was NEWSBOYS!!! They were Totally better than the other bands! The music/Lights/ect... it was awesome!! Peter is a Great speaker too, and I really enjoyed that. After the Concert we went to Perkins (i think) and then went back to Fairview Church where Jeremy S. had parked his car and we loaded Jesse and Jed's stuff into his car from mine, then I took Rosetta and her sister back to their house then I went to My Grandparents for the night. I had a wonderful time hanging out with Rosey and her awesome family that weekend and Sunday afternoon came wayyyy to soon! We loaded up and got back to MN that night.
And I Just realized my history class starts in like 5 min. So I gotta run!

Yea so...hmm...where should I start?!
Well lets see....Last Fri Sept 21, Rosey, along with her parents, came to MN to visit. I think her parents were havin an anniversary trip or something, and were so very kind and considerate in decided to take it up here and bring Rosey with them! Thanks SO MUCH!
    So Yea after class on Fri, about 12:50 or so, (my 2:00 class was canceled that day), I was sitting in my car trying to listen to my voice mails to see who had left a message, when," tap,tap,tap" on my window, I look up and about jump out of my skin cause their stood My Beautiful Girlfriend!! smiling away at me! It was soo COOL! So anyways yea, we transfered her things to my car, I showed her parents where to go to find their hotel and off we went. We did a little shopping then went to Knoops and I introduced her to James, Rachel, and Tia. Went to Balsam Store and got hoodies and then went home.     So yea we had a GREAT WEEKEND!!! And I can't Wait to see her again this Fri!! is this cool or WHAT?!! Actually their is a Newsboys/Kutlass Concert Fri evening in Ceder Rapids IA, I'm drivin my car and Jesse and Jed Martin are going with me. So we'll stay for the weekend and come back Sun afternoon. I'm looking forward to another Great Weekend!!!
